Get inspired by the Micropolis Guidebook!
We are proud to present the summary of our 16-month EU Project when we have exchanged a lot of knowledge, inspirations and experience connected with the topic of vibrant, well-functioning local communities. We have also run our own surveys and tested some local actions targeted on solving the challenges that we found in the surveys. The Micropolis Guidebook makes the summary of our most successful efforts and our final reflections that were gathered in a 6 steps model and 6 paths to Micropolis.
Here you can see and read the whole Guidebook LINK TO GUIDEBOOK – we will be happy if you find there an inspiration, you can also share this Guidebook to everybody who may be interested. It’s free to publish, print or quote – just with giving the source of reference.
Here are some quotations (and in a meantime – the most significant reflections that we included in the Guidebook). All below topics have longer explanations with many examples in our Micropolis Guidebook. Enjoy!

„We present the 6 Steps Model showing how to develop local communities. We hope it may be an universal and useful tool for NGO’s but also for Municipalities, Culture Centers, Libraries, Schools and the individual activists who want either to start with well-planned community works or want to be more effective and advanced in their community-developing efforts. During the 16-month Micropolis project, we gathered knowledge and experience from various international organizations and experts, tested all 6 steps of the model and we observed the positive effects of this designed way of working with the local community.”
